Mother’s Day Weekend
“Baker’s Acres Mom of the Year”- Drop your Mom’s name into our box and we’ll choose our “Mom of the Year” at random during our Mother’s Day Breakfast. Our winning mom will receive a “2010 Mother of the Year” T-shirt and bragging rights for the whole season! Visit us in the store on Friday or Saturday to submit your Mom’s name.

2:00 PM to 3:00 PM - Arts and Crafts - Make a gift for Mom.
Please bring with you one clean, empty soup can per child. We’ll supply everything else you need!
3:00 PM to 4:00 PM - Muffins with Mom - in the pavilion. Enjoy a spot of tea or a cup of coffee and a nice muffin with Mom. It will give you all a chance to sit back and relax for a few moments with your kids; and it would be a great time for you, kids, to give your Mom her freshly made Mother's Day gift!
7:00 PM - Bring Mom to the Movies- Family themed movie and free popcorn! Popcorn served between 7:00pm and 7:15 so don’t be late!

Clean-Up Weekend
Stop in the store and sign up to help us "Clean the Campground"! A pledge to donate four hours of your time on Saturday will get you your second night free (seasonals will receive a credit towards site their site fee).

10:00AM to 1:00PM - Meet us in the playground at 10AM to receive your assignment. At the end of your four hour clean-up, please have someone sign off on your pledged time. Then visit us in the office to receive your free second night credit!
7:00 to 10:00PM - Bonfire with S’mores- Get to know your fellow campers or just spend time with the ones you love. Enjoy complimentary S’mores next to the warmth and coziness of a bonfire. |

Day Trip to Barnegat Lighthouse State Park and Eagleswood Amusement Park!
9:30AM - Meet at the camp store. Pick up your information/activity packet for the kids and to stock up on any needed supplies.
9:45 AM - Cars line up on Willets Avenue (back entrance of the campground). We will depart from there.
10:15 AM - Arrive at Barnegat Lighthouse State Park.
11:30 - Meet at exit of Park to depart Barnegat Lighthouse State Park and head over to Calloway's Restaurant and Eagleswood Amusement Park.
12:00 - Arrive at Calloway's Restaurant and Eagleswood Amusement Park. Sit down for a well-deserved lunch at our local watering hole. After you've had a bite to eat, enjoy the games and rides at Eagleswood Amusement Park. A special thank you to Chris at Calloway's for extending a 20% discount off of your lunch (valued up to $10.00) and a free miniature golf game for every famiy that joins us on our caravan!

Show will be performed on a raised 8’ x 20’ stage. Participants must meet by the pavilion by 11:00 AM to check in and turn in their music (if necessary). Please call or email in advance to register. 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM - Arts and Crafts- Memorial themed craft.

Winning team members are invited back to particpate in our Labor Day “Battle of the Victors” tournament.

12:00 PM -3:00 PM - 3rd Annual “Chowda Head” Cook-off and Clambake ($) - Submit your tastiest New England style chowder to be judged by your fellow campers during our “Chowda Head Cook-off and Clambake” ($). Winner of each catagory will receive an “I’m the 2010 Chowda Head” apron, T-shirt and cash prize! Sign up in advance by calling, emailing or registering in the store! A special thank you to Calloway's Restaurant and Eagleswood Amusement Park for co-sponsoring our event. They will be supplying a batch of their award-winning Chowder and a $50.00 gift certificate to our lucky winner!
2:00 PM - Daddy-lympic Games - Fastest Diaper Change and Fastest Running with a “Beer” are just a preview of our games. The winner will receive a “2010 Dad of the Year” T-shirt and bragging rights for the season!

We’ve got it all planned out for you: DJ, pizza, Bonfire for school paper burning (limited to one notebook per child), Limbo, Best Dressed Individual/Group, Crazy Hair Contest, Best Slippers Contest and Face Painting. *Parents…you may chaperon, but this party is strictly for the kids! Inappropriate attire will have you personally escorted from the party and back to your parents. If you are not sure what is appropriate, ask first!
8:00PM -10:45PM - Adult Pool Night- Ages 18+. While the kids are living it up enjoy an evening swim in a kid free zone!

Let us know in the office if your site is participating so we can make sure the hayride visits you with our voting ghouls and goblins!
Best Looking Scarecrow – It’s up to you to bring us your very best in scarecrow-ware! Present your scarecrow at our dance to be judged! If you need some straw, stop by our Pumpkin Painting to help yourself!

12:00PM to 3:00PM – Pumpkin Painting and Scarecrow Stuffing Time – Meet in the pavilion to give that pumpkin some personality. We’ll supply the goods, you supply the imagination! If you’re going to participate in our scarecrow contest, stop by to stuff that scarecrow! Remember, you need to bring your own scarecrow attire…we’ll supply the stuffing!
5:45PM to 6:45PM - Trick or Treat! Stop in the store for your list of participating sites and then head out to fill your ghoulie, oops, we mean, goodie bags!
7:00PM – Hayride – meets in the playground. Make sure you grab a form from us to vote on your very favorite Haunted Site!
7:00PM to 10:45PM – Haunted Dance – Be sure to put your best costume on! A night full of contests, great music, ginger snaps and warm cider. Bring your pumpkin for the funniest, craziest, most creative pumpkin contest. Don’t forget to bring your scarecrow!
